At the Let’s Talk Racism conference, our girls didn’t just lead a session! they created a portal! Through jump rope, hand games, sidewalk chalk, and play, they invited us to pause, breathe, and be. To remember the joy, freedom, and brilliance that lives in Black girlhood.

Then, in their own words and on their own terms, they shared what being part of Black Girls for Liberation has meant to them. It was powerful, unexpected, and beautifully moving. A true reminder that when Black girls are given space to lead, they don’t just show up. They shift the room.
